Tonga's flag, seen in Pacific rugby-fandom and royal-monarchy posts (Tonga is one of the few remaining Pacific kingdoms). Its red cross on a white canton was so carefully protected by the king who designed it in 1875 that he decreed it could never be altered, even slightly, for all of history.
