A skier, depicted mid-descent on a snowy slope, used for winter-sports content, ski-trip announcements, or vacation bragging during ski season. Trivia: unlike most sport emoji introduced through the deliberate 2010s diversity/activity pushes, the skier emoji is one of a small handful of 'legacy' symbols inherited from the older Wingdings/Webdings-style pictograph sets that predate modern emoji, which is why it (like the detective emoji) requires a variation selector to render in full color.
