Santa Claus

Santa Claus, one of the most seasonally concentrated emoji in existence — usage spikes enormously every December and is nearly silent the rest of the year, one of the clearest examples of a holiday-locked emoji in usage data. It's used literally for Christmas content or jokingly to call someone generous ('you're basically Santa 🎅'). Trivia: because the character is so globally recognized, Santa's design has stayed remarkably consistent across all platforms — one of the very few emoji where Apple, Google, and Samsung's renders are nearly identical, unlike more divergent emoji like the hamburger or the shrug.
