A gender-neutral mage/wizard in robes, added in 2019 alongside a set of fantasy-race emoji (fairy, vampire, elf, genie, zombie), used for fantasy-game references, tabletop RPG (D&D) content, or jokingly describing someone with an uncanny skill ('you're basically a mage at Excel 🧙'). Trivia: this whole fantasy-character emoji set was proposed partly to serve the massive Dungeons & Dragons and fantasy-gaming community, which had long relied on generic or mismatched emoji to represent characters in play-by-text games.
