A plain right-pointing arrow, used for direction but also very commonly as a visual "next" or "then" connector in sequential posts ("before ➡️ after"). Like its diagonal siblings, it descends from early Japanese carrier emoji direction sets, making it one of the oldest emoji shapes still in daily use, largely unchanged since the 1990s pager and phone pictographs.
