An "ON!" button icon, used to hype something as officially active or happening — "the deal is ON!", "game night is ON!" — carrying more enthusiasm than the plain word alone. Like its button-family siblings it began life as literal Japanese feature-phone UI iconography before being repurposed for emphasis.
