A trident — Poseidon/Neptune's three-pronged spear — used for ocean/sea-god references, video game weapon icons, and sports team mascots associated with the sea. It's also, less commonly, associated with Shiva in Hindu iconography (the trishula), giving it double mythological duty across cultures.
