The Rod of Asclepius (or sometimes rendered closer to a caduceus), the medical symbol used to represent healthcare, doctors, and hospitals. Interestingly, the single-snake Rod of Asclepius (Greek god of medicine) is the historically correct medical symbol, while the two-snake caduceus often confused with it is actually associated with Hermes/commerce — a mix-up perpetuated by some real hospital logos too.
